I haven’t tried Nature’s Variety for my cats yet. If you have bought Nature’s Variety Holistic Pet Food for your furry friend, what did you think of it?

You bring up a good point Alex! I find that when keeping my cats under a raw/wet food diet, the benefits from doing so are that they are more energetic and healthier! Like you mentioned, the downside is that they have icky cat breath and tartar buildup.
If you are looking for a natural solution for your cat’s teeth, I have come across Tropiclean’s Fresh Breath, a gel made of natural ingredients to remove plaque and tartar without the need of a toothbrush. I have not personally used it yet, but I have read positive reviews on how teeth were dramatically better in just a few days. You can find Tropiclean at Petco and neighborhood pet stores if you are interested.
I have been feeding my cat Nature’s Variety as part of the rotation diet (plus Royal Canin kibble and Wellness canned food) and I have to say that cat is of a very healthy weight (3 years old), lively, good mood with a ridiculously shiny healthy coat.
One thing is that it doesn’t do much for the teeth in terms of tartar buildup so I have to brush her teeth when she’s on raw/can diet and use kibble for dental care (non-specialized dental kibble does NOTHING to clean the teeth, mind you).
