Publix’s coupon policy is that they will take manufacturer coupons and Publix store or a “Publix Competitor” coupons for every item (including free BOGO items). Each Publix store will accept different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location from Publix. Before you make a grocery trip, call the store manager of your local Publix and ask which stores they consider to be a competitor. That way you can accurately plan out your Publix deals without making an unnecessary trip.
The Publix weekly sale ad can either start on a Wednesday or Thursday, depending on where you live. Prices and products may also vary by region. To receive a buy one get one free (BOGO) discounted price, you must buy both BOGO products in Florida. All other states, with Publix stores, will ring up half price when you buy one item under the BOGO promotion. For Floridians, if we use coupons with a value of fifty-cents or less, our coupons are sadly unable to be doubled. Other states will double coupons as long as their value is fifty-cents or less. To find more Publix store coupons, Publix coupon booklets are located at the entrance to the store.
Always double check your receipt and make sure it’s accurate before you leave the store. Publix’s policy is that if you are overcharged for an item, they will give you the item for free. If you purchased the overcharged item more than once, the first one will still be free and all other consecutive items will be priced down to the discount cost and you’ll receive your money back!
On the bottom left of Publix’s weekly circular, you will see when the prices are effective and the statement ,”Any item carried by Publix GreenWise Market will be at the Publix Advertised Sale Price”. That is great if you shop strictly at a Publix GreenWise store, but if you shop at a regular Publix, ask your Publix store if they will honor the GreenWise Market ad price. If they do, print and bring along the GreenWise Market’s Weekly Ad and when you’re ready to check out, separate your GreenWise ad items and coupons and give the GreenWise Market’s Weekly Ad to the cashier to adjust the prices. As a courtesy, visit the customer service desk when you arrive and show them that you have the GreenWise Market’s Weekly Ad and ask if they have a preference to where you will be checking out. By doing this, they can alert the cashier ahead of time to assist you.
